Intelligent Grade Control

Precision work needs its own interface. Grade Assist gives guidance, utilities, safety, and autonomy the focus that general operation can't—built for gloves, depth, and pressure.

Grade Assist

Precision without compromise.

01 · The Challenge

Precision work. Competing signals.

Depth, target grade, cut/fill tolerance, utility clearance, and assist state—all tracked while running the machine.

  • Underground risk. Utility clearance has to surface before the bucket is too close.
  • Competing hierarchies. Safety signals can't drown behind grade KPIs.
  • Assist trust. Enabling Grade Assist is a mode change—it needs explicit operator consent.
Doe approaches the water main at 1.4 ft depth. Utilities, stability, and cut/fill tolerance all demand attention at once.
02 · The Platform

Guidance without compromise.

Separate product depth on the same cab hardware—the way OEMs ship grade control.

Built for precision

Safety over production Utility proximity, stability readouts, and E-stop state interrupt before assist or grade metrics.
Grade-first navigation Guidance and safety in primary nav. Work progress one tap from the Dig Dashboard.
Built for the cab Glove targets, persistent status bar, and confirmation modals for assist enable.
3D site context Plan vs. actual cut, machine pose, and layer toggles in spatial view.

Utilities

Clearance before it's too close.

Distance readouts and proximity banners on the Dig Dashboard and utility map.

Grade Assist

Safety

Stability and restricted zones.

Slope, stability envelope, worker proximity, and E-stop state—priority signals when assist is active.

Grade Assist

Autonomy

Assist enable with consent.
